Another month of Crazy Cooking Challenge hosted by Mom's Crazy Cooking!
I feel like we JUST did the Chocolate Cake Challenge, which was so much fun.
This month the Challenge is Spaghetti and Red Sauce.
What I've made for it is one of my families favorite meals. This is easy and cheap to make! Your kids will gobble it up I promise!!
Roasted Garlic Cheesy Baked Spaghetti
Ingredients:
1 box of spaghetti pasta (or other pasta if you'd like)
1 large jar of your favorite tomato sauce or 2 regular size jars (there are times I do not feel like making mine from scratch!)
1 16 oz container of ricotta cheese
1 bulb of roasted garlic
1 cup of grated Parmesan ( sounds like allot I know!)
Fresh Mozzarella
2 roma tomatoes sliced thin
Directions:
Boil pasta according to box directions. Strain and mix with sauce, and ricotta.
Mash up your garlic into a paste, mix that in with the pasta as well have half of your grated parm cheese.
Pour into a casserole dish.
Top with slices of fresh mozzarella (In my picture I did not use it.. we were out :( but I normally always top with it!)
Top mozzarella with slices of tomatoes, and grated parmesan cheese.
Bake at 400 for for 20 minutes.
Dish up and enjoy!
Your kids will love it I promise =)

ReplyDeleteWhat brand of Tomato Sauce did you use in this recipe. What size do you consider a large size.
I use my mom's jarred sauce. It's a 24 oz jar. Use your favorite sauce :)
