Extra Cinnamon Pull Apart Bubble Bread w/ Cinnamon Cream Cheese Glaze

This is the easiest thing I've made in weeks and weeks. Some days you just crave Cinnabon right?

But you don't always have the time to make Cinnamon Rolls from scratch. This is the predicament I found myself in the other day. I did not have the time to make a yeast dough wait for it to rise.... the rise again.... then bake.

I wanted cinnamony something FAST. I looked in the fridge. To find pizza dough staring at me.

Hmmmm pizza dough?

Yep that will work!

Cinnamon Pull Apart Bubble Bread w/ Cinnamon Cream Cheese Glaze

Ingredients:

1 batch of pizza dough (store bought works just fine!)
1/4 cup of melted butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of cinnamon chips
1 tbs of cinnamon

For the glaze:

4 oz of cream cheese
1 cup of powdered sugar
2 tbs of cream
1/2 tbs of vanilla
1/2 tbs of cinnamon

Directions:

Mix  your 1/2 cup of sugar with your 1 tbs of cinnamon.

Divide dough into 1-2 inch pieces stretch out into a 2 inch circle, fill with a few cinnamon chips.

Bring the sides of the dough up and roll into a ball.

Roll each ball into melted butter, then into the cinnamon sugar.

Place each ball into a greased loaf pan. Pile on top of each other.

If you have any left over chips go ahead and sprinkle those on top as well.

Bake at 375 for about 30 minutes. Or until the top of the bread is starting to harden and the sides of the pan have a bubbly caramel.

Let the bread cool for about 10 minutes. Then Flip the pan onto your serving dish. (the bottom of the bread should now be on top.)

In your electric mixer on medium high beat your cream cheese, vanilla and sugar together. Slowly add in your cream. When it is thin enough to drizzle over the warm bread go ahead and drizzle it up!

Pull apart and enjoy =)

PS you have to get your fingers sticky to eat this bread... it's finger lickin good!

  2. I'm always craving Cinnabon but the nearest Cinnabon went out of business and sometimes, I don't have all day to wait for the yeast to rise! So thank you for sharing a quick way to fulfill my Cinnabon cravings. I actually have some pizza dough in the freezer so I should go to the kitchen and make these right now :)
