Strawberry Baked Oatmeal

I made this with the boys for our Sunday Breakfast while my hubby had to go off to work this past weekend.

What a hit it was! The boys and I both gobbled it up!

Strawberry Baked Oatmeal
Serves 4

Ingredients:

1 cup quick cooking oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbs chopped pecans
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
1/4 apple sauce
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup diced strawberries (additional slices for top optional)
1 beaten egg

Directions:

Mix all of your ingredients together. Pour into a greased pie plate.

Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

  1. I used to have oatmeal in various forms every day and my husband especially loved the baked oatmeal I made on weekends. I liked how it turned into almost oatmeal cakes... you can cool and slice it for days to come :)

  3. I've never tried baked oatmeal but it looks delish! Love the strawberries studded in the oatmeal, and the slices on top of course!

  4. Oh, yum! This looks like eating just the topping off of an apple crisp - that's my favorite part. I am definitely pinning this!
