Get Ready For Some Apple Recipes!

Last week was Pumpkin Pumpkin Pumpkin... This week will be Apple Apple Apple!

Today my oldest bestest friend (yes I know bestest is not a word...) took our kids apple picking. Not sure if she knew what she was getting herself into. She only has 1 3yr old son... when I have 3 demanding kiddos! So she had her work cut out for her!

We started our afternoon out petting goats, feeding turkeys, and bunnies, playing on the play ground, jumping in the bounce house, THEN some apple picking, enjoyed some homemade ice cream... I had a apple cider popsicle (YUM), then more playground time... and then we went home.

PHEW I'm tired! 4  kids let loose at an apple orchard is allot of work!

  1. What a fun day and great photos. I look forward to the apple recipes.

  2. Looking forward to apple recipes! Alex & I proudly & excitedly purchased our first Honeycrisp apple of the season! Unfortunately, they must be grown by Greek gods because we could only afford one. Ha.

  3. Also! Beautiful photo of you & your newest bundle of love :)

  4. Thank you Heather and Maris! Looking forward to making a Traditional Apple Pie today for my inlaw's visit.

  5. What a great blog! I saw that you are a new follower on my blog (Cooking With Chopin), so I hopped on over. And I have a question. How in the WORLD do you get so much wonderful cooking and baking done with a newborn AND two boys?! I myself have two boys (ages 5 and 2), and I can barely accomplish a third of what you do! Way to go!

Love these pics of you & your little ones. So precious.

  6. Great Pics...I can't wait to to apple picking! Looking forward to your recipes.

  7. Ginny, Newborns sleep ALLOT thankfully! My boys love to help in the kitchen as well. My time in the kitchen is the only thing that keeps me sane some days! Also I was poking around on your blog last night. Love it!

  8. What fun photos these are! I love that picture of you and your daughter. Apple picking is something I look forward to every autumn.

I love your comments and any feedback. Please let me know what you think!
