Cinnamon Nutmeg Tortilla Chips w/ Honey Yogurt Dip

So this week is all about easy healthy snacks my kids enjoy helping make as well as eating.
I saw a post this morning from Healthy Mom On The Run for fruit salsa. Which I did not make today but will later this week. BUT she also had baked tortilla chips with cinnamon and sugar. It dawned on me WHY HAVE I NEVER DONE THIS? I find myself saying this allot as I read other mom's blogs.

So instead today because I'm not feeling all that energetic. 37 weeks pregnant and all... I did a Yogurt Honey Dip and Apple Sauce. We also sliced up some watermelon to dip as well.

Cinnamon Nutmeg Tortilla Chips:

Ingredients:
3 flour tortillas
2 tbs butter melted
1 tsp sugar
A pinch of nutmeg and a pinch of cinnamon

Directions:
Cut your tortillas with cooking sheers into triangles.

Arrange on baking sheet, brush with melted butter. In a bowl mix sugar and spices together, then sprinkle on your tortillas.

Bake at 350 for about 5-10 minutes. Watch them because they will burn fast! I know this because I forgot to set my timer on the stove... then tackled a potty training 2 yr old who was peeing in his soon to be sisters room...And I ask myself, why are we attempting potty training right around the time I'm due to have a baby?

I am beginning to think that Chase has a grudge against his unborn baby sister. Last week while painting in her room, I left the door shut while some things were drying and went into the kitchen ... then I hear the door open. I run down the hall to find Chase picking up the lid to the paint can before I can grab it, he takes off running leaving paint dribbles in his path and covering his feet in white paint.

Then last night my husband... again painting in the babies room did the exact same thing that I did... he walks away then returns to finding Chase sitting on the floor stirring the paint with a screw driver... yes its bad enough he is playing in paint... but now he has a screw driver.

And now today he is urinating on her floor... OH did I mention its CARPET?! He is lucky he is so stinking cute... cause he has driving me close to a  mental break this past week!
This is my 2.5 yr old nightmare.

When I returned from cleaning up that mess... I found my kitchen engulfed in smoke.

YUM YUM YUM Snack time anyone?

Seriously with a blog name like "Bakeaholic Mama" you'd think I could handle baking some pre made tortillas right?
Well apparently NOT! Haha

Problem now was we only had ONE tortilla left. Oh well guess we won't get as many chips out of the next batch.... so that's why we did the watermelon wedges!

Directions For Yogurt Honey Dip:

Take 1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt, and 1 tbs of honey... mix and its done! Easy peasy right?
