Raspberry Lime Lemonade

Simply what?! I will never again purchase Simply Raspberry Lemonade  (which I drink way too much of!) This tasted EXACTLY the same.

Its HOT HOT HOT out there... here is a quick refreshing cold drink idea to make with the kiddos this week.
As always we picked some berries tonight, I had some lemons and a lime in the fridge so why not make a cool treat for the boys. They think I'm a god now... apparently making juice is like magic to these boys!

Raspberry Lime Lemonade

Ingredients:
2 large lemons
1 lime
1 cup fresh raspberries
3/4 cup sugar
2-3 cups water

Directions:
Take the berries and place in a medium bowl with the sugar. Mash and mix together with a fork. Let it set for about 15 minutes. (I'm not sure how long my berries sat for... in the time it took me to do a load of dishes...)
Yes some blueberries made it in there as well... thank you Chase!

Take a fine mesh strainer and pour the berry sugar mixture through pushing all juice out leaving only pulp and seeds.

Juice the lemon and limes into a 1.5 quart or larger pitcher.

Discard seeds, give the lemon/berry juice mixture a good stir. Then add in the water start with one cup then taste.... if its too tart still add a bit more in 1/4 cup increments till its perfection!
